Who we are
CW Smart Alloys is a mobile alloy wheel refurbishment service operated by Wayne Phillipson. For anything relating to your personal information, contact us at info [at] cwsmartalloys.co.uk or on 07492 050061.
What information we collect
We only collect personal information you choose to give us when you ask for a quote or book a job — typically your name, phone number, email address, vehicle details, your location for the appointment, and any photos of wheel damage you send us by text, email or social media.
How we use it
We use your information solely to provide quotes, arrange and carry out your wheel refurbishment, and contact you about your booking. The legal basis for this is the performance of a contract (or the steps you ask us to take before entering one). We do not use your details for marketing and we never sell or share them with third parties, except where required by law or by our insurers in the event of a claim.
Photos of our work
We may use photos of completed refurbishments — including photos showing your vehicle with its refurbished alloys — to showcase our work in the gallery and other promotional areas of this website. These photos show only the vehicle, never your name, location or other personal details, and we will obscure the number plate on request. If you'd prefer your vehicle not to be featured, or would like an existing photo taken down, just tell us and we'll remove it.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not set cookies and does not use any analytics or tracking tools. All fonts and assets are served directly from the website itself.
How long we keep it
We keep quote and booking details only as long as needed to do the work and meet our legal and accounting obligations (normally up to 6 years for business records, as required by HMRC). Photos of completed work may be kept and displayed on this website as described above; damage photos sent for quoting are deleted once the job is complete.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, just get in touch using the details above. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
If we ever add features that change how your information is handled (such as a booking system or analytics), we'll update this page and the date at the top.
